Play with intention
Children learn through stories, songs, imaginative play, movement, outdoor exploration and hands-on materials. Adults extend children's language, introduce new ideas and notice emerging interests. Short focused activities introduce early reading and number ideas without losing the curiosity and joy of a play-based day.
- Communication and language through conversation, stories and rhyme.
- Early mathematics through sorting, patterns, counting and real objects.
- Physical confidence through movement, fine-motor play and outdoor activity.
- Personal development through turn-taking, sharing and recognising feelings.
- Creativity through art, music, role play and building.
Care is part of learning
Settling-in arrangements are discussed with families before a child starts. Daily routines make space for meals, rest, toileting and transitions. Teachers share relevant care observations through the approved school process, and sensitive health information is restricted to people who need it. Families can tell us about comfort routines, communication needs and practical considerations.
Before your child starts
Meet the early-years team, discuss routines and agree a settling-in approach. Admissions confirms the age group, available places and any support arrangements. Synthetic images on this demo page illustrate an environment; they are not photographs of enrolled children.
Speak with the school about learning, routines, available places or your family’s next steps.
