Thoughtful teaching, meaningful experiences and a caring school community help every learner discover what they can become.

At Lagoon Heights, strong academic foundations belong alongside character, creativity and a sense of community. Every child deserves to feel known, challenged and supported.
Our demonstration school is designed around three commitments: sound foundations, personal development and an active partnership with families. Teachers plan carefully sequenced lessons, make room for discussion and practical exploration, and use assessment to decide what a child needs next. Children are encouraged to explain their thinking, ask for help and take pride in work they have improved. The wider school day develops habits that matter beyond examinations: listening, responsibility, kindness, collaboration and the courage to keep learning. Assemblies, clubs, class responsibilities and creative projects give children opportunities to practise those habits rather than simply hear about them.
A thoughtful pathway through every stage of learning, with the care and challenge each child needs.
